I travelled to eLearning Africa in Accra, Ghana on May 28-30, 2008, and presented in a session entitled 'Creating a Quality Awareness Approach to eLearning'.

During this session we looked at different quality ideas and approaches from the African Virtual University, the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology in Egypt, and the University of Zimbabwe.  We intend to explore and progress the ideas which have arisen from previous eLA conference discussions to form an African/European support network to promote quality -  sharing and learning about quality management techniques for eLearning, and achieving wider quality improvements through eLearning.
